School starting tomorrow! (and update)

So I'm starting my senior year in high school tomorrow!  I'm not as much excited for the new year as I am to finally get it over and done with and move onto HIGHER LEARNING.  

College searching has been tedious. I know exactly what I want to do, but there aren't too many universities that offer both my major (Industrial design) and minor (Japanese language). For those that don't know, Industrial design is like meshing art and engineering together. You get to create concept designs and prototypes to better the technology and goods we have today!  

While I found two or three schools that aren't too far away, my parents are flipping out over prices so I'm working my butt off to get as many scholarships as humanly possible.  One school they think is cheap enough happens to be the only one that requires a portfolio and their department looks super ratchet. But to appease my parents, I'm working on the portfolio. 

This brings me to my update: I'll be posting some of my better portfolio pieces and concept sketches here, as well as my actual work when I get my butt to college! I hope you are all as excited as I am! Thank you so much for the support up to this point. I couldn't have gotten this far without all of your kind feedback and friendship.
